Are you sure u dissolved it all the way?
After you boiled it in the water, did you put your finger in it to see if you could still feel the powder?

-Yes, she uses the soap. I'm not 100% sure if it lightens the skin but I know it clears up pimples, bumps, and blemishes. The cream definatley lightens the skin though.
