There are only a few things over there that could cause an issue on that side of the motor. Either you crushed a fuel line, or broke it, or the pump seal is bad.

Sounds like a timing issue on your car, if your car is running to advanced it will run rich. Another likely cause is your fuel pressure regulator has gone bad.
