OK so it's a 1990 civic dx with a 1998 engine block... tonight I was driving home and its like all compression was suddenly gone... transmission seems to shift... but there's hardly any acceleration...

Master cylinder was bled yes... brake parts were lubricated yes... its on the front driver side caliper... after bleeding the brakes (yes in the correct order) brakes work fine for about 10 minutes...

K so my 1990 civic dx has been having brake issues.. at first I figured it was something simple but now I've replaced both front calipers both of the from brake lines and the brake master cylinder.....

1990 Honda civic... I few weeks ago by brakes seemed to lock up while driving... the brake pedal would not move... now after replacing both calipurs and the bake master cylinder I have no pressure in...

My original in fact DID have power steering.. I still have the original hose hanging out of the steering rack and I've no hydraulic shops in my area
Even if the part isn't made for a civic if it...

If its not the filter... try checking the free-on... sometimes it needs to be filler like in a car

So I just redidi the brakes shoes on the rear of my 1990 civic (drums)..
I thought everything went smoothly.. guess what..
I have no brakes now... its just air to the floor

OK no promises but my 1990 civc was doing the same thing... if you've replaced all those parts it sounds like it could possibly be either the main fuel relay ( if its trying to start) or the ICM......

Does that mean that they would alter the hose to the correct fitting for the car ?
And would any auto shop be able to do this because there are not any shops of that type where I live

A while back I had to have an engine replacement done on my car... The vehicle is a 1990 Honda civic DX sedan with (only the block) to a 1998 civic DX my problem is that the power steering hoses...

I am using the full synthetic oil and trans fluid and have not had any problems with water in my tank..
My concern is justafter starting the car my engine maked a ticking sound and pulling off...

My civic in fact does not have power steering currently... engine replacement caused lines not to fit... its actually not that hard to handle without except at very slow speeds... thia is also a 1990...

Having the ac on shouldn't have effected the heater... if its not getting hot you might possibly have a problem with your heater core

First off check your spark plugs and plug wires to make sure there firing. Sometimes a spark plug might be blown. If all is good try checking the fuel injecters

If that doesn't work try simply cleaning the throttle body and the (IACV)... mycivic used to do the same thing... a little cleaning and its good to go

The only thing I know to do is keep her calm... wet her area to help the kitten slide easier and start to lightly try and pull any exposed kittens out
