After I bankrupt and erase the second, can I refinance the first?
-
Maybe the fan is udside down?
-
There's got to be a short somewhere. Trace back from the panel and see if you find something.

If my wife makes more than me and we're thinking about divorcing, would she have to pay me alimony if we both have 50% custody?
-
Even if it's invested into real estate?

My wife and I are divorcing and she wanted to give me some of her 401k from work to help me invest into buying a home. Is that legal and can we do that?

It's a trap that's designed for water to hold back the sewer smell. When it's actively used, the water accomplishes this. Every type of drain that goes to wastewater must have a p-trap.
-
I'd get it fixed but I don't believe it's bad for you. Wastewater treatment employees smell it all the time so it's probably not bad for you.
-
Not sure but if it's a relay or a contactor that connected to the pump, that could be the problem
-
Sounds like you need a T-stat that will operate a heat pump.

Ohm out the pressure switch to see if it's functioning properly while the fan is on. Also take the hose off the pressure switch to see if there is a blockage by blowing in it. Sometimes dust and...

Check the error codes on the back of the panel. That should help you. Might be a pressure switch, clogged vent tube, induced draft fan not working.
-
Ok. Another thing that is most likely the problem: if you manually had to help the fan to start, the motor could be bad or the capacitor could be bad. Sometimes the capacitor will visibly show signs...

If this is an XE 90 unit, I've had problems with the pressure switch and the tube coming from the plenum to the switch collecting condensation which will clog it. I'm not an expert but maybe check...
-
I checked out the unit last night, air filter is good, no clogs in the exhaust vent line and after I re-set it, it worked fine. I asked my friend next time it's not working but the fan is on to...

I have a Trane xe 90 and sometimes it heats and sometimes it doesn't. I actually haven't looked at it yet but have been given the details on the unit so I don't know if it's a HSI or an Ignition...

I have a AC unit that's not working and it's a heat pump. When it's in cooling mode, the condenser fan motor doesn't work but the compressor does. Then it shuts down on high pressure. First thing I...

Can a 3 phase motor be wired to run like a 1 phase? We've got a 3 phase motor and the motor starter has only L1 and a L3 with both to voltages to ground of 120v

Thanks for the info, I just wasn't positive of the freon. I'll have to look to see if I have a sniffer but when I saw the piercing valve I was suspect. I also have an EPA universal so I know the...

I've got an old refrigerator made in the early 90's. You can not read the name plate to find out what type of refrigerant it's charged with but it runs a lot, I've cleaned the condenser coil. I...
-
Sounds like the contactor is faulty and won't pull out shut the system down so then the condenser runs until it shuts down on low pressure cut-out but let the pros answer and see it they have the...
-
Turn your disconnect off first. Replace the wires with the same size/color and length as the other ones from the disconnect to the condenser with the same connections if there are any.
-
Make sure the T-stat is in the cool mode and is on Auto. Also, make sure if the T-stat has a electric/gas switch, that it's set in the right position. If your furnace is a gas furnace, then set the...

I know I need to refresh myself on superheat and subcooling. Thanks for the help.
-
I think what I was looking for is the PSI low side and high side when a system is properly charged without the superheat/subcooling calculation. Like the other answer I received, I need to be...

I have a pressure/temperature chart of different refrigerants but my question is, in a refrigeration unit (ice maker) charged with R-12, what is the working pressure of it and where would I find this...
