Coil shut down wire is not grounded. With engine spinning at over 300 RPM no spark. Touch one spark plug wire to ground and I get spark at the other spark plug wire. Engine will then start on one...

Briggs dealer told me a minium of 350 RPM is need for mag to start making spark. Maybe starter not spinning engine fast enough. Just saying. I am no expert.

Starter must crank engine at mimium of 300 RPM for mag to create spark. Make sure ground wire from mag is not grounded out (bare wire).
