I tried some additional steps regarding the problem as it kept happening after following chuckhole's advice.

Are you able to disable the AV on the computer you need to run the psexec on to test to see if it is the AntiVirus?

Did you click Apply before closing the window?

Hide Protected Operating System Files (Recommended)

You can uncheck this to see if it will reveal other hidden files.

If you go to Control Panel --Keyboard

Do you still see the ergonomic keyboard installed?

Try going into Device Manager Delete your keyboard,
