LOL! You are a doctor of comedy!

Close down this section for everyone else? Better yet BAN quacks like you!

Ali77,
Please answer my question in the previous post in this thread. You are giving what sounds like medical advice and you have listed in your profile (copied and pasted below) that you are a...

Are you a medical doctor licenced to practice medicine in the United States or other English-speaking countries? Your questions worry me as you say you are a doctor in your profile. Wouldn't a...

Thanks for letting us know, aj55. I feel better knowing you've helped him this way.
-
Best advice I've heard on this subject, Thanks.
-
True, Fred. I've spent more money on OTC medicine and other baloney that doesn't work. That's why I frequent vets. Not only do my animals recover more quick, in the end it may be cheaper. I just...

Try typing in ear mites in the site search area, there are some others who have had some good answers. Sorry, I can't help you more as I'm pretty much a "dog" person. Good luck.

Try typing in ear mites in the site search area, there are some others who have had some good answers. I've never had this problem, wish I could be a better help. It must be hard to cope with...

This is a cute thread. In our house ALL dogs except the two puppies are allowed to sleep wherever they want. They choose our bed.
They are kept clean and we love them. The puppies were...

The vet said that one of the dogs *does* have kennel cough and that it isn't the end of the world except for very weaken dogs. She said dogs pick it up in the shelters when they aren't vaccinated...
-
Sorry if I've alarmed anyone. I just found out that the boy's cough is due to a botched debarking operation. He's got scar tissue that he coughs on. So sad.
:(

Does anyone have experience with disinfecting their house and yard and dog beds/kennels with the germ that causes kennel cough? I know about bleach mixtures, but that seems too caustic for metals...
-
I've also heard of people using white flour (baking/cooking flour) to stop bleeding when their nails are cut too short, but the alum powder that Labman suggested is what I use.

Hi Tom,
It's good to hear that you love him so much and that he's not just a money-maker to you - I like people like you. If you have him neutered he will be less likely to roam or jump over...
-
Hi Tom,
Would you allow me to be "bossy" for a minute? ;)
1. Get him microchipped immediately.
2. Put his phone number on his collar with permanent marker across the top.
3. Take out a...

noreenh70,
What wonderful news! Thanks so much for letting me know! :)

Hi tcrgg,
Boy, it sure sounds like she may have a bladder infection because of the small amounts of urine. If she were mine, I'd have that checked asap as that's got to be painful. Poor thing. ...

I agree with Pumkin's sentiments, but also with yours, Koriani. I'm most fortunate to be able to take my dogs to a vet at every whim (or should I say worry), but this hasn't always been so. ...
-
Don't know, but if he were mine, I'd get him to a vet ASAP to see if he could be made more comfortable. Could he have been injured or gotten into something toxic? Hope someone else can help you...

My two dachshund pups share a large kennel and what we do, as my husband leaves for work around 5:30 - 6:00 am, is put a large, heavy blanket over the whole thing at night after they get in so that...

Just a thought, but how do you know he won't be mating your dog with it's own mother/sister/cousin/niece or too close a relative? It sounds a little creepy from just what you've posted. If it were...

Rkim,
Cute auto-sig! Mind if I use it also, sometimes? ;)

How about putting the puppy into a little tub with warm water and puppy shampoo. I'll bet that if you hold the puppy in the water for 5-10 minutes, making sure he can breathe, the fleas would drown....

Labman: Thank you 100X over!
When I went to the site you listed, I didn't see your photos.

Ok, let's give this a try.

Someone removed my cute "Adopt a Long Dog" jpg! Wonder if it took up too much space.
-
The person who told you this should be stripped of any right to train, advise or have animals. I'm sorry to be so blunt, but this is sick, punitive and borders on cruelty. My stomach aches.
-
I'm relieved to hear this, thanks. I'll be looking forward to hearing how she is doing after seeing a vet. Please don't wait as dehydration sets in after this long if not 2 days ago. I take my...

I like your idea(s). Thanks, Rick!

Three days without water?! Don't know about cats, but dogs would be in trouble after this long. Can't you get her to an emergency vet?
-
The only thing we can do is contact our local representatives i.e. congressmen, etc. and make them aware that we do not want Codex here. If this trend continues, even growing herbs and perhaps peach...

TygeressDemon,
Doctors say that bellybutton piercing is the most likely of the body piercings to become infected. Please consider a cuff rather than the real thing. They can be just a sexy...

Why on earth would that ring cost $3000 American?! The total weight is only 1 carat... with that many diamonds, if you do the math, they are very small. Small diamonds like that are cheap and can...

Rats. It's still didn't come through right to the forum. Last try then I give up.

Yes, Rick. If I had a friend's ring to take them, they could just do a casting of it that way. <sigh> I've begun doing as you suggested by contacting some local jewelers e-mail, but haven't heard...

Fantastic Rick!! Thanks a lot!

My little 3 year-old nephew has been diagnosed with Austism. Can I find information somewhere on this site from someone who's tried chelation therapy for heavy metals including mercury blood levels?...

Does anyone know where I can buy a ring just like this in USA? The site above is an Australian site and they won't sell...

Take a little wine for your stomach's sake.
Wine in moderation (one glass per night) is good for your heart.

Funny, I've never had anyone ask me to take my shoes off upon entering their home. Once when beginning to enter my Asian neighbor's, I asked her if she'd like me to remove my shoes. She said "no"...

Agree. He's cute and adorable. We could have some great fun! :)

Within the framework of this forum, I mean - I'm handicapped by the rules. If you'll PM me with your e-mail addy, I could then answer your above post.

Wildcat,
Of course you are! ;)
Who said you weren't?

Hi SSchultz,
Were referring to my post? If so, I'm actually against the feminist movement as I believe it hurts women and is disrespectful to men. Please point out where I'm being feministic,...
