Dry weather is the main reason why our lips dry out. Exfoliating is the absolutely wrong thing to do for yourself! It will dry out your lips even more. Please stop.

I know it is a pain in the neck to keep reapplying stuff to your lips, but that is what you have to do. If your lips are that dry, you need to begin to heal them. To start getting your lips back into shape, use vaseline to ease the dryness. Buy a very small jar or tube of it. Apply as often as necessary during the day. Best thing that can help is to apply a heavy coating before going to bed. Within a week, you should be back to normal. Apply the vaseline whenever you feel your lips are drying out during the daytime and continue putting on a thing coating at night.

I think we have a resident beauty expert here on the boards. I am sure she will make an appearance and advise you further.

Vaseline is still one of the greatest beauty tips. My Grandmother would use it and past that hint down. I even saw an interview with Cybil Shepherd and she says she uses vaseline on a daily basis for moisturizing.
