Science Fair project?

Hi just trying to see if i could get some great ideals on a science project for a boy thats n the 6th grade. Wanted something thats different not the same old topics from last year. He was wanting to do a volcano but not sure because everyone already knows about that. so any ideals or topics to choose from?? I have been search on line but still no luck. PLease feel free and come forward with any ideals. Thanks!

What are some other topics that he might consider, please?

One of my fortes is those that have to do with sound. I'm both a profesional musician and piano tuner/technician.

I'm sorry for taking so long to get back to you, La Huera!

One thing that he might do is to demonstrate that within each note of a piano, there are actually many other notes sounding.

If you need more information on how he could demonstrate that, please let me know on this thread.

try to avoid the volcano project, as i think back to my past science fair, i think there were several.
