Researching Financial aid for my child

I am an ex felon that has hurt my children by my past deeds. However I am lucky that they are good kids and going to school. My youngest needs help with financial aid for a christian college she wishes to attend. I am researching any help that I can get for her. I would appreciate any advice or guidance in my research.
