Need loan or grant for a Military High school

I am trying to get a loan or grant to keep my son in a Military High school that serves special needs children. He is adopted and has a learning disability but is now doing a wonderful job. The school only works with Sallie Mae, and though I never had a problem in the past, now I need a cosigner. Can't find one. I am an army veteran. The school is $15,000 for room and board and I only need it for this year. By next year my debt will be whittled down enough where I won't need a cosigner. If I borrow $15,000 from my 401K and quit my job (for another better one) how will it get paid back? This is quickly becoming my choice of last resort.
