| Error message regarding PaperPort - Visioneer Scanner Hello. I have a fairly new Dell computer, and used to have a Visioneer scanner. I have replaced that scanner with an all-in-one from HP. I removed the Visioneer scanner from my computer, but now every time I boot up I get the following message: fbdirect.exe Unable to Locate Component "This application has failed to start because MAXKERNL.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix the problem". From what I have found online regarding MAXKERNl.dll, it is specifically for the Visioneer scanner, and I don't believe I even need it! If it does need to be re-installed, I haven't been able to figure out how to do it. I would love to figure out how to keep this message from popping up every time I boot up my computer! Any suggestions??? |
