    It is always useful to have your contract checked by a lawyer. If you can't afford that , take it to the nearest university - law section, where almost always you will be assisted free of charge.

    You have went to a month to month rental normally, unless your lease has some other agreement to renew the lease or some other rule.

    But his status of being in foreclosure does not change your obligation until the property is actually sold.

    So you will need to be paying him rent if you plan to stay
    I would quess you did not mean to stay free ?

    But once the property sells, then they can ask you to leave
