Will I ever get to retire

I am tired mentaly and physical. Passable emotionally too. I see no future. Please tell me what you see I graduated in 74 born in 56

I see that if you were born in 1974 as your nic suggests that you are approximately 32 years of age.

These feelings can be common in women around this age and warrant a visit to your doctor to see if you are suffering from depression.

Ah, I see, you added to your OP AFTER I had answered. Hmmm, that info was not there when I answered.

Now, we are not psychics or fortune tellers, but at 51 you could be experiencing some medical issues that may need to be explored.

Back to the original question, aside from the medical possibilities...

How much have you saved for your retirement?

How much do you have saved in non-retirement accounts?

Are you vested and/or eligible for any early retirement plans?

What is your current debt load? Mortgage payments? Unsecured debts?

Depending on any and all of the above, you could retire right now, or you could be a greeter at Walmart when you are 75. You need to give us a little more data to go on here.

This probably was done before but here it goes. Where are some of the best but cost effective place to retire and why? I hope to retire before age 50 but need to pick the right place to do so. Recommendations?
