Hey, I was just wondering, What is Bias?

I have googled but there explanations are so complex. If anyone can help thank you.

I know Bias is one sided answer but other then that im braindead with it

Bias simply means that you idea, opinion, thnking is or may be prejudiced in some manner by you experiences or association with a particular situation. You may, for example, have a son or daughter that you think is perfect in all respects but others may say that you are "biased" in your opinion in that this is your child and naturally you tend to consider you child is perfect.

Thanks alot! I was wondering because I just got into an A.P class and I never knew what Bias was. A biased speech can be one of Hitlers speeches right?
