Will it ever happen or not

Hey guys been thinking of this for awhile I have a question and it is what do you think will it ever work out again or not me and my ex who we were each others first loves for about 1 1/2 to 2 years we made it work threw long distance besides summer time I live in md and she's in jersey but we had summer cottages throughout summer we talked over phone the rest of time and we split up because I almost cheated on her but didn't talk for about 8 mnths until I went down over summer n we spent time together but she has a boyfriend we talked about getting back together but didn't and we texted here and there being friends over next 6-9 mnths and she know I still love her and would give my life any day for her and always will then I confessed I wanted back together a little argument started and again we didn't talk for months but eventually we started as friends again and she knows were friends and I love her even though she has a boyfriend but she texted me one day and told me she missed me and the thought of us but again a dead end and her boyfriend cheated on her one day so I helped her through it and they are together but she isn't 100% happy with him and we both say if its meant to be it will be and we will reunite now I'm 20 and she's 19 her and boyfreind have been together almost 2 years but he has cheated and I know she still loves me deep down and thinks of me misses me sometimes but what do you think will we ever be together again I went to her house one day drove 2 hours just to give her roses but she was sleeping so I bought a card and left for her again confessing my love so she and all you people know I do love her and would do anyhing for her thanks for reading and can't wait to here replys because I miss her evryday of my life n relize I messed up and would do anything to get my heart she holds back

Why do people think long distance relationship can work out? I am not trying to be mean, but I've read so many threads that have problems because people have long distance relationship.

Couple things:

1) I tried to read most of the OP's question but it was pretty difficult as it appears to be one giant run on sentence

2) Long distance can work out if two people care about each other, are mature and put enough effort to make it work.

It seems that in this case, she has a boyfriend and is having problems with him because he cheated. If I were you, I would stick to dating around your area for now. You are both extremely young and it is hard enough to maintain a relationship living in close proximity to one another. I think if everything was going well with her current boyfriend, you wouldn't be in the picture...just my opinion.
