Why guys asking for a break?

My boyfriend is suffering from sadness and stress , he was ask me to give him a break because he was telling me that he doesn't want me to annoyed, even though it's really hard for me because I love him so much but I let him go, Now I'm worried that he might not coming back to me, what should I do? Hope someone can give some advice because I don't know what to do.

There's no kind way of putting this.

You go live your life and leave him to his ''break''.

Most often this is a cowardly way to break up whilst ''keeping the options open''.

I have to say amicon is right. Its pretty black and white when you sit back and look at it. When someone asks for a break they are saying I want to get away from this relationship without hurting you. A break leaves it open ended on your part. They get away while your not as hurt as a break up would be. Instead they leave you hanging and wondering if they are coming back. During this time you need to fool him and move on. The break happened and life goes on. The relationship is over.

Had to spread the rep amicon.

But amicon is correct you give him his space if he comes back then good if not you live your life. It happens to everyone and I know it seems like you will never get over this but you will. We all do. The worst thing to do right now is to not give him his space if you start texting calling emailing you are just going to push him farther away.

Give him what he asked for and don't expect him to come back. Breaks/break ups suck, but the sooner we accept them, the sooner we can heal.

Even if he has a change of mind later, at least you will be able to decide what YOU want a lot better when you aren't listening to a broken heart.
