My boyfriend and I have been together for 7 months. Spring Break is coming up and I am going with my friends (4 girls, 2 guys) to Myrtle Beach, SC. My boyfriend at first had a BIG problem with me going- he still has some trust issues (afraid I'll cheat, etc..) So I talked to my friends and they said he is welcome to come along. I told him and so at this point he is going. However, I'm not sure I truly WANT him to go. I do, but I don't. By spring break, we will have been together for about 8 months- do you think that is too soon to be going on vacation together (even though it's not one on one)?

Not really because it is a group vacation but I don't think you should invite him unless you truly want him to go. At the end of the day, its up to you to decide but you shouldn't feel pressured into inviting him along. You sound young so no one will blame you if you want to enjoy yourself on vacation without feeling dragged down by spending all the time with your boyfriend.

This sounds like bigger problems are brewing under the surface, but I suppose that isn't the nature of the question... The only thing you'd have to worry about is getting too close too fast because (if this boy is worth his salt) there will be plenty of romance getting down there at Myrtle. From what it sounds like, he'll take it seriously... Will you?
