Hi this is probably a silly question and I should just go with the flow but I have had really bad luck with men for the past year or so and I think have finally moved on from my past relationships (trying to).

Anyway I met this amazing guy a few weeks ago! He makes me really happy when I am with and we get on really well!He is honestly wonderful and I am surprised I like him soo much considering all the crap I've gone through with my 2 ex's actually recently. I really want to give him a fair chance though and put the past behind me because I think we could have an awesome relationship..

We have gone out about 5 times and only kissed the last time so we are taking it really slow (I didnt want to make the first move) and he keeps asking me out which is great. The last time we were out this guy asked him if I was his gf and he was like "um no..Not quite"? We havent talked about it obviously so I dont know if that was a not yet..or hell no?lol? I know he's definitely not after just sex otherwise he would have tried to sleep with me already right? But I was just wondering if his behaviour seems like he wants a relationship with me?

If you were present, he may have muted his response to judge your reaction to the idea or he's just unsure how you feel about things.

Somehow, I get the impression he's doing all the work and wondering where things stand. Are you initiating anything or calling him?

Well he has initiated all of the dates..lol. I txt him first sometimes but usually wait for him to make the first move..The thing is with my ex it was always me making ALL the effort while he was being an a** so I'm scared of ruining things with this one or being too keen since it is the early stages!

Maybe I am being too cautious?but I really like him!Do you think I should initiate more contact?

You never know how a guy feels but his actions show he is interested, and its way to soon for anything else, my gosh its only been 5 dates. Your both strangers still. See how you both feel in 6 months, before you start fantasizing, and no sex until much, much later. Now relax, and have fun, getting to know each other enough to at least communicate. Whats the hurry???

Your right I'm just going to relax and have fun now.He just asked me out again so awesome I'm excited!I think I just got a bit nervous because I've had really bad luck with relationships lately and my last bf was really horrible to me.
