I think my relationship with my first love is over, now what?

I have been dating my girlfriend for going on two years now. She was my first lover, my first lover, & I live with her. But lately things have been different, we fight constantly, she never seems like she is in a good mood. Which makes me in not such a great mood. She doesn't seem happy anymore and I can't say that I'm happy anymore either. But she swears she wants to work things out, but she doesn't act like it, and I don't know If I wanna work things out anyways. Basically I think its over but I'm scared to just break up with her. Mainly because if I do, she has to move home with her mother that is not so good. If she moves home, she drops out of college. Plus I dont want her to get depressed again and hurt herself. Why can't I let her go? What Now?

What are the arguments about? Do you want to work it out?

After 2 years you should know each other well enough to know how to talk to each other and help each other reach solutions to your problems. Living together is more than playing man a woman, you actually have to work together.

If your staying in the relationship just because she may drop out of school or get depressed then you are putting a lot of weight on yourself. Letting someone go is never easy but staying in a relationship for the wrong reasons isn't easy either. You should talk things over and decide what is best for you both individually.
