Okay, my fiance called things off two years ago. He wanted to date the super model type women thinking he would find his perfect match in a mid-drift sweater and tight jeans. Anyway none of the women worked out...they were just these beautiful empty vessels.
So now we are trying to be friends since we both agree we have so much in common and after two years of being apart we have missed each other's friendship very much but my ex is still calling me all the old names (cutie sweetie kissie face, all one name) and he tends to ask me out of the blue if I know that I am the prettiest girl in the world. I am thinking he wants to get back together with all that sweet talkin but I am not responding to his sugary words. We've only started talking two weeks ago and already with the sweet talk. You weren't "good enough" two years ago when he decided he wanted the "super model type women". You might be flatterred right now because it seems like this guy "choose you" over other "beautiful empty vessels"... but I would wonder when he might decide again that he'd rather go for the next "better offer" that comes along - make you the fall back girl again.
