3 weeks ago my boyfriend asked for a break. we havent seen each other during these 3 weeks and we talk every once in a while. a few nights ago i was out with my friends. i happened to be talking about him and all of a sudden he walked in. we said hi and stuff and our groups talked to each other but that was it. then after seeing him i got in the car. by accident i pressed the wrong radio station and it was the number that had something to do with our relationship. is this just a coincidence or could it mean something?
I'm not a believer of mystic things like your suggesting: signs and hidden meanings.
The fact that he showed up at the restaurant was a coincidence. The fact that the number which had something to do with your relationship came up was because you hit the wrong button.
The break was his idea, not yours. You didn't want a break. You're still vested in this guy full tilt and would take him back at the drop of a hat, right?
So, all this does mean something. It means you're still thinking about him, pining after him. You see him and remember him in every song and every store and every conversation. It means you're a normal girl dealing with being dumped.
A "break" is just a nicer word for "breakup". I hope you can see that. Even if he comes back later, he's told you that THIS WEEK, he's giving himself permission to do anything or anyone he wants. He's putting you on "hold" basically while he plays around some.
I hope you're OK listening to your heart saying you "love" a guy who can do that to you. Sometimes, your heart needs to be slapped into submission by your smarter brain and wiser spirit. Think about it.
In my experience, when a man says he wants a break it means it is over and he's too chicken to just be a man and say it.
I think you may be looking for something to tell you otherwise, but the fact is he ain't coming back. I wish you well having been there myself, I know it stinks. But good luck and best wishes..
