How should I propose to her
Well I've been on this site plenty of times with a broken heart therefore the name broken dood. Well if you have seen my last questions I was pretty lost with love. Well now I have found someone and she has been a very close friend of mine for 12 years and me and her finally just said yes to each other and well we have been together for awhile now and I need some help.I love her with all my heart and she knows it and I want to pop the question to her but every time I think about it I freeze and just don't know what to say. So maybe you can tell how I could do it.

p.s I really don't know if this is the right category for this but either way I know ill get a good answer.

I found this one on the net, and thought it was horribly romantic!:
My girlfriend loved flowers. I took her to a flower nursery where I incorporated the assistance of the manager. Amongst the brightly, yellow colored flowers, I arranged to have potted, red colored, flowers placed in the nursery that spelled out the words..."Susan, will you marry me, Brad". I further hid my spelling by covering the red - worded - flowers with yellow peddles. Then, on cue, the fans were turned on and the loose peddles were blown away to reveal my message. She cried and said yes. Directly behind us was a rose arrangement where I had the ring resting on top of a rose bud. She stills talks about it today.

    Dood.

You've been with this girl for about 6 months... what the heck is your rush? You were with your old girlfriend for 2.5 years until she broke your heart... why rush this one?!

    Plus, you're 20 years old!!

Right now, at 6 months, you're still in your honeymoon phase of the relationship. Of course things are going to feel hunky dory. If you still feel this good at 3 years, then maybe it's time to pop the question.

At 20, I suggest you take the time to get to know her... after all, that's half the journey, isn't it?

I appreciate ISneezeFunny's points and for the most part agree. But I have to be honest, 6 months IS enough time if it's the right girl.

I got married just before my 23rd birthday, but that was because I'd met Mrs Compatibile when I was 21. But I knew she was Mrs Compatible when we'd been dating about 6 months, so I would've easily gotten married sooner.

But we didn't. Still went almost 2 years, so, all things need to be considered.
