    Songs we sing Part 1
I was thinking about how to structure the amount of songs we listen through a break up process, yeah, we keep them on our mp3players to the office, to the gym, to grocery stores, in the car, just everywhere with us.

Some of us we will try to avoid some sort of music that remainds our lost partner, some others will try to listen to them until our eyes runs out off tears (could be therapeutic). Some of us will try to listen songs with some motivational content, etc.

I want to pass through the hall process, thatīs why the Group Part 1 of songs are for trying to rip it off that pain from our chest, and yes maybe cry, maybe feel anger, maybe want some sweet revenge (just keep it as therapeutic form to move on not in other way of revenge please), maybe others for forgive them for the pain they made us, etc..

The Group Part 2 it would be for songs to overpower our lessons learnt, to put our feet on the ground again well recovered, to support our self-esteem, to raise again...

Feel free to add your songs, and to comment any of them, maybe this would become a STICKY for everyone :)

    GROUP 1 Songs we listen

1.- Fuel - In my hands
    2.- Pearl Jam - Black
3.- Stone Sour - Through the glass
4.- Jack Johnson - Fstop blues
5.- Hootie & The Blowfish - Let her cry
6.- linkin Part - In the End

Same lyrics but harder beat if you like that stuff...

    TSOL-Being In Love
    TSOL- Wash Away
    TSOL- Darker My Love
    TSOL- Flowers By The Door
    TSOL- Sedatives
TSOL- It's Gray (lyrics are good the beats a little stupid)
    Subhumans- Curl Up And Die
    NOFX- She's Gone
    NOFX- Linoleum
    NOFX- Leave It Alone
NOFX- Happy Break Up Song (this is a little dirty)
Green Day- Pop Rocks & Coke
    Green Day- 80
Green Day- Stuart & The Avenue
    Green Day- F.O.D
    Green Day- Stuck With ME
    Green Day- Only Of You
    Green Day- At The Library
    Green Day- Don't Leave Me
Against All Authority- All Ages Show Tonight
    Against All Authority- Best Enemy
    Anti-Flag- Angry, Young, And Poor

Like I said, a little punk-ish but the meanings are good. Those are some of the songs I listen to during break ups/depression/sadness/etc.

One the other hand, there is this:

I will watch you in the darkness
Show you love will see you through
When the bad dreams wake you crying
I'll show you all love can do
    All love can do

I will watch through the night
    Hold you in my arms
Give you dreams where love will be
I will watch through the dark
    'Til the morning comes
All the light I'll take you through the night to see
A light showing us all love can be

I will guard you with my bright wings
Stay 'til your heart learns to see

    "Somewhere down the road"
    "Weekend in New England"
"Looks like we made it"... all by Barry Manilow (yes I know, but don't laugh)
"You are everything" by the Stylistics
    "Everybody Hurts" by REM

Now however I'm in a healing stage so I find that I'm listening to songs more along the line of:

"Freak on a leash" by Korn
"You oughta know" by Alanis Morissette
    "Violet" by Hole

Looks like I've gone from one musical extreme to the other dosen't it. :D

    Stone Sour:

    Through Glass

I'm looking at you through the glass...
Don't know how much time has passed
Oh, god it feels like forever
But no one ever tells you that forever
Feels like home sitting all alone inside your head

How do you feel? That is the question
But I forget.. you don't expect an easy answer
When something like a soul becomes
Initialized and folded up like paper dolls and little notes
You can't expect a bit of hope
So while you're outside looking in
    Describing what you see
Remember what you're staring at is me

Cause I'm looking at you through the glass...
Don't know how much time has passed
All I know is that it feels like forever
When no one ever tells you that forever
Feels like home, sitting all alone inside your head

How much is real? So much to question
    An epidemic of the mannequins
    Contaminating everything
When thought came from the heart
It never did right from the start
    Just listen to the noises
(Null and void instead of voices)
    Before you tell yourself
    It's just a different scene
Remember it's just different from what you've seen

I'm looking at you through the glass...
Don't know how much time has passed
And all I know is that it feels like forever
When no one ever tells you that forever
Feels like home, sitting all alone inside your head

    And it's the starrrssss
    The sttarrrsss
    That shine for you
    And it's the starrrssss
    The sttarrrsss
    That lie to you.. yeah-ah
