    Sad Love Songs
Yes we know they are cheesy and we laugh at them most of the time but I found myself listening to a lot of sad love songs and it helped.

Here are a few I listened to:

Elton John: Guess that's why they call it the blues

    Bon Jovi: Always

Roxy Music: Oh yeah and Dance Away

And my favourite song: With or without you

My question is has anyone else found these kind of songs helpful and if so what songs would you recommend?

True but I found it help me come to terms with what has happening, it made me realise I wasn't the only person going through it and I guess the songs helped me to emotionally open up to myself and let go,

I guess it's what ever makes things better for the person, but I would need loads of kleenex tissue handy lol.

After reading the songs that you named I know you will not agree with me but there are some very beautiful love songs in the old Classic Country Music field.

I was going to give you the name of a couple of Country songs that I like:

    Honey by Bobby Goldsberg

He Stopped Loving Her Today by George Jones... and it is not because he dumped her.

Don't Cry Joni by Conway Twitty... A very cute song... so do't let a good one get away

I Will Always Love You written by Dolly Parton

Have I Told You Lately That I Love You by Willie Nelson

Thanks, I don't think music should be split into genres, I think if you connect to a song then that's great, it shoudnt matter what type of song it is

Why Be Sad? [ 2 Answers ]

It's quite hard to come alive every morning like the rooster who utters that familiar shrill cry of delight.
