Rejected and confused

My guy friend introduced me to his friend named Tommy. Well, I dont know how I feel about Tommy but i told my guy friend that I just want to be friend first. Then the other night we went out and i brought a girlfriend of mine along and my guy friend asked Tommy about my girlfriend. I didnt think much of it, and we had fun that night. I thought Tommy and I clicked and it felt like we were flirting. Now to find out that Tommy asked my guy friend to bring my girlfriend out next time. Now I feel rejected and sad that tommy doesn't like me. Eventhough, originally Tommy was supposed to be introduced to me. I felt like because I was too slow to let my guy friend know about my feelings and stuff and now I lost the chance. Even my girlfriend said that it seemed like Tommy is interested in me. because he kept on asking me where to go later? Now I'm just confused. Do I ask my guy friend what Tommy thought of me? I want to be his friend and sometimes I want more. I recently got out of the a relationship, thats why I feel like I'm scared of starting over and be hurt again. Now, I feel very much rejected. Please just give any advice on what I should handle this situation.

Just respect Tommy's wishes and what he wants to do right now. You just got out of a relationship so i think the best thing for you to do is just be friends. Take some time away from relationships, time for yourself. If something does happen between you and Tommy that is great because you started out as friends and that is the best way to start a relationship. If nothing does happen, it wasnt meant to be. Everything happens for a reason. I hope this advice helps.

You just left a relationship, so of course it will take time to get back into the swing of things, so I would not wory about missing any oppurtunities, you weren't sure any way how you felt. Just keep having fun and things will fall in place. No Hurry. Forget Tommy for now, and don't let it bother you.

Take your time and go slow and easy. You just got out of one relationship and you just met Tommy. Likewise, Tommy just met your girlfriend. It's far too soon for anyone to make any decisions about who likes who, etc. You can ask your guy friend if he's gotten any feedback from Tommy, but at this point he probably hasn't gotten much, at least nothing concrete.
