I'm like that with my boyfriend, and he gets upset. It might sound like "one relationship" but it can have a pretty big affect, it did on me. It doesn't mean he doesn't care for you so don't make a big deal out of it. Give him some time.

Men are never sure about anything and say anything to get out of everything...until they see what they want...then.... just you try and stop them from getting it! If you are the right one for him, you will know it...but ..why wait for him to make a decision? You make it and if he can't take it..show him the door!

i had the same problem with my previous girlfriend, and it was frustrating, i know exactly how you feel. she broke up with me a few months after we started going out, and she sed it was cuz she couldn't take the "pain" of bein away from this other guy. im not saying this will happen to you, but i do know that with something like that in the relationship, it can really mess things up.
if you want to take his mind off of this other girl, on your next date, try demonstrating just how good of girlfriend you are, guys tend to respond to that.
