I have been seeing a man for nearly 7 months. He's been hurt terribly in a couple of past relationships and is commitment phobic. He still has yet to tell me he loves me, but the way he acts around me, leads me to believe otherwise. When he sees me, his eyes light up and he has a smile, he constantly has to be touching me, be it on the shoulder, holding my hand. He has told me he cares for me very much and misses me when I'm not there. He calls me every day and we see each other about three times a week. He's not pressuring me to have sex, although we have on occasion. He gave me a card for Valentine's Day that said he had been waiting for something, but didn't know what. But since I've come into his life that he had the answer to his question...he had been waiting for me. He signed the card "With Love". Does it sound like he loves me or not? I still have yet to meet his two sons, his boys were hurt by some of his ex-wife's boyfriends, and I think this is why he is hesitating on me meeting them. He definitely has some trust issues.

Just go slow with him and prove to him that you can be trusted and when he is ready he will portray his love. 7 months isnt all that long to be telling someone you love them. You are still getting to know each other an given his past he is probably reluctant to give too much of himself. And in my opinion a wise move.

So go slow and dont worry so much about hearing those 3 words you crave so much and i bet when you least it expect it they will come.

If your stressing and worrying about it all the time he will sense it and get tired and bored and youll never here it. Continue to have heaps fo fun and good times with him and im sure one day when he is ready you will be able to honestly say it to each other and know it is true. Right now you wouldnt know that.
