Is ignorance the best?

So I had a boyfriend and I was with him from 2006-2007 but we had been friends for YEARS! He was one of my best friends. Anyway long story short..he cheated on me..I always went back to him and could NEVER not talk to him. The last time I caught him with his ex on Christmas Eve..I have still not talked to him..its been over five months..Never thought I could do it..hes been trying to talk to me...do I keep ignoring? Ahhh Help!!!

Well if he kept cheating on you I don't think he deserves your attention.

Why would you want to talk to someone who cheated on you? How can you even be friends? Explain how knowing someone a long time, means taking disrespect from them?

My ex boyfriend's mother actually gave me some words of advice once that God, i wish i had listened to. "Some guys will do as much as you let them get away with."

He CHEATED on you!! Don't let him get away with that! He broke your trust and your heart. You can't be friends with someone like that. Stop all contact with him. Let him learn his lesson. And you move on to bigger and better things!

He cheated and that's that.. it means he DOESN'T respect you. He's a douche, find someone that's worth your time and effort, and NO he's not a good friend either

Keep up with the ignoring. And if you think you're going soft, think of how he hurt you.

If he couldn't be trusted as a boyfriend why should you trust him as a friend?! If you see him out though there is no reason why you shouldn't acknowledge/talk to him.....no reason to make another enemy in the world!!!

Even ignoring him is more effort than you should make. You need to find a way to make it a complete non-issue in your life... not even any energy spent on "ignoring" or wondering if you should keep ignoring...
