I think this is a good sign for me!

I have spent over a year getting over my ex. Plenty of posts on here!!

Anyway, when we were together we sort of had "our song". I don't need to say what it was, but it was on the radio all the time when we first met each other, and it always reminded me of her, to the point that when things went wrong and she ended our relationship it got me a bit upset to hear it.

I basically have avoided it totally for a year. If it was on the radio, or the video was on tv, I changed the channel!

Earlier, I was watching music tv, and it came on, and I sat and watched it, and thought, very good song. I then found myself chuckling away with the thoughts as to what a needy person I was for a period, and how I am so much happier now with the way things are.

I would call that a good sign!??

yes, it is a good sign, I will add depending on how long one was with a ex, and how the relationship was, I remember my first wife ( long passed away now) but we had a song that we did our first dance together at a school dance. I still 40 years latter don't like to listen to it. So there can be some things we never get over completely, but it is getting over a relationship so we can move on and live life again

Almost every song was our song with my ex..so it sucks hard to be me
But yeah it's definetly a good sign..now that you acknowledge you were needy as well hopefully you will know better next time - or else you wouldve missed the point all together and your whole break up taught you nothing.

This is a good sign..
At the beginning you might hate it and be pissed but then at the end things get a little better..when you get used to it and think about it...
Now you could meet new people...
Good luck!=]]

Yea, that's currently happening to me now. Every slow song was our song. Whether it was an oldie or a current hot track, it reminded me of her. You know what i did? I started listening to my personal music which she didnt like. It helps me to not think of her. But good on you I say!
Congratulations

When you can laugh - you can live.

Sounds like you are almost back!

Do not regress and look her up etc...amd she will fade 100% - and voila!

New girl - new adventures...
