I’m a gay man in my early twenties and I recently fell in love for the first time with a friend of mine who is probably straight. He looks totally straight, seems interested in women and has a long-term relationship with a woman. On the other hand, he is very often saying gay jokes and innuendoes to his friends, and especially me. It is usually about me being in a relationship with another man or participating in homosexual activities and stuff like that. (I haven’t told him that I am gay but I think he has realized that). He seems quite enthusiastic about these jokes. In addition, he is physically intimate with me. He is often winking at me, touching me, caressing me, and he knows that I really like that. He often looks me in the eyes, approaches me, pinches me a bit and then leaves. When we are talking he is coming so close to me that I step back. He is generally intimate with all his friends, but I still feel that it is different between us, like there is some kind of flirting. He is also very caring and protective towards me. Why do you think is he acting like that? Is this ordinary behavior for a straight guy or could he be into me?

Let him know that you are a homosexual.

Don't come out and say that you "like him too," but rather tell him about your sexual preference and see how he reacts to it.

Yeah.. let him know that you are indeed gay. If he backs up and like stops talking to you completely then chances are you freaked him out and he's straight. But if he continues to do those things, knowing that your gay, then he might want something out of it.. he seems to be bi. good luck.
