There is this guy i met on the internet and we talk a lot, except everytime we want to hang out we don't cause he is sick or something. Well last week he ditched again for the third time and when i asked why i got no reply. so i haven't talked to him since then cause why bother right!! Then yesterday a week later after he ditched i might add, he sent me a text that said "hey i got shy and nervous to meet you i'm sorry i still do want to meet you." I didn't send him one back till a couple hours later and asked why and never got anything. Why did he send me this what is going on in his mind?? Why lie?? Should i just not bother and move on??

Im in a similar situation with this old (girl)friend of mine..She makes an effort to message me and ask to talk..make plans to meet up..and when I reply I get no response :]
I just laugh it off..Don't suggest any plans, and wait for him to suggest something to do- just go 50/50 ..if you see he's still ditching you then quit.
But I think its normal for him to be shy and scared at first..

There is no relationship here anyway. You have no obligation. You have never met before and it sounds like your probably better off and safer not to meet this person. Of course it is just a personal opinion. The choice is yours and yours alone. Just be smart about it, okay.
