Yes she does, because she is responsible for her minor child, and has a right to say who influences that minor or not. Ain't about sex, its about parental preference, and you would be well advised to protect yourself (and the girl) by staying away from her daughter. Seems to me you should be telling jail bait to leave you alone.

Sorry guy, but you will understand better when you have your own 16 year old daughter. Not only are teenage girls easily hurt, they can cause a lot of problems for the guys they insist they are mature enough to mess with. And while your in jail, they find someone else to make their mom mad about.

Don't invest your future, or freedom in a half grown immature female. That's not a smart manly thing to do, and that's a fact. If something bad happens you only have yourself to blame as just think for a minute, who goes to jail if the cops are called, her parents for being responsible for a minor CHILD, or the 18 year old who goes against the parents about the minor child? That's right, YOU will, and any charge against them, by you will be ignored, and laughed at because its their CHILD.

Don't worry you won't be alone, she goes to juvey, for disobedience of parental authority.

It just ain't worth the hassle. Just get an 18 year old to hang with. Now that's legal.

Of course she does, cops are there to serve and protect. You can call the cops for anything, but whether they respond is questionable. My downstairs neighbor once called the cops of the former owner of my condo because he was having sex with his wife. Swear to God.

As a adult, while the name of the crime varies by state to state in the US, you as a adult can be considered interfering with the custody of the child,

One of the many laws the DA can think of , if they get enough pressure from the parents or other community groups.

Just think of your photo on the 8 oclock news being put in the car for some "yet undisclosed crime with a minor child"

If the mother of the minor says you are to stay clear of her daughter, then you do. While this may seem unreasonable, and without merit, it really doesn't matter what you think, because the laws are, what they are.

She is a child, you are an adult.

It is highly unlikely that any authority figures, ie cops, would agree with your reasoning, or that her mother is somehow harrassing you!

Are you aware of the pregnancy statistics in California of teenage girls? It is because of these incredible numbers, that law enforcement is going to be knocking on your door and you could get yourself into serious trouble for not respecting the mother's wishes, to leave her minor child alone.

It's really simple. Find another adult to have a relationship with, and leave this child alone.
