    My Girlfriend broke up with me, because I was not affectionate enough..
    I was also rude sometimes to her and would hold back my feelings.I know the brake up was my fault, but it still takes two. The reason why I did not show my feelings, was because she would always push me away. So I got use to not saying sweet things to her.The last few months of are relationship,I saw the signs that she was upset all the time.I did not know if it was me or her parents that was causing this. She told me she did not love me in the same way anymore and would like to be friends.I told her how I felt about her and said OK. I'm currently giving her space and time. Any advice on what I might be doing wrong?

    As you said it takes two, so why assume its all you when it could well be her too. Lack of honest communications is what leads to assuming, and presuming. There is seldom a reason t be rude though, especially when you can just shut up until you know what's really going on.

    How old are you both?

    Old enough to know when to back off, and regroup. Sorry guy, but when you get dumped you don't hold your breath waiting for her to change her mind, you start your own healing, and get your own thing to do without her.

    Yeah, I realize that I have to let her go.I don't text or call her. My problem is I love her very much, but I'm sure time will heel that.This may sound stupid, but I even have mixed feelings about dating her again. Some traumatic things have happened to her to, which I feel make her emotionally unstable.I never looked at her differently and accepted who she was. I guess its painted in all over the wall? Give her space and time. So I should just let it be? And also think about what I want as well?
