how to get over a loved one?

how does one get over or TRY getting over someone they love? how do u get over someone that u are so used to having in ur life? like u knew the person u are with right now is in ur life for a couple more yrs and ud have to let them go eventually? how do u coop with that without stopping all contact all of a sudden that way ur feelings go away day by day?

It takes a long time, I got out of a "shorter" relationship (eight months) In may of this year. It took me a very long time to even think about dating another. But I did it. All i am going to say is, Enjoy the long nights and the days will bring u happiness. Just give it TIME! Dont rush into anything! Rushing into something will make it worse..
