Hi I've been with my girlfriend for almost a year now, we live together and things were great when we started but now when I'm home she rarely wants sex and usually just wants to sleep.
We're both in our mid 20's she has a varied job and works very hard at it and I'm in the armed forces so am away a fair amount of the time.
When I'm away we find time to talk every night without fail and text a lot. We often text at night and we both get a little steamy and she says she always says she can't wait for me to come home so we can be together and spend all day in bed and that she'll make sure her room m8's away so we can have the weekend to get up to mischief etc but when I come back she's always too tired or has to get up early the next day so doesn't want sex.
Recently I've been home quite a lot recently due to an injury I've been home 2 weeks at a time. She's always excited to see me when I get back but after a few days she doesn't find time for sex and in the evenings she has free we normally end up visiting relatives or curl up on the sofa and if I try to make a move she tells me she's got to get up early or she needs to sleep.
It's starting to feel like she prefers it when I'm away and I did bring it up with her at christmas and we talked about how she didn't know how to act when I was back for longer periods of time and I thought we'd sorted everything out.
We do love eachother very much and she tells me she loves me, kisses and cuddles me.
We always promised we'd make the most of the time we did get together and it just feels like we really don't...not only in a sexual way but just spending time together.

Am I just being selfish or is there something I should do? It's really starting to depress me and I don't look forward to coming home as things seem better when I'm not there. I'd really love things to be as they were when we first started seeing eachother when we had sex every couple of days and made time for eachother. I've tried speaking to her about it and she comes over all guilty and apologises and says it's just because she's busy at work or too tired.

Anyone have any advice?

Hey man, i'm miltary too. did you ever think of talking to the chaplain or maybe the family support people. Or even your First SGT maybe able to help. Maybe she is lonely and gets used to you being away. or maybe she doesn't want to be with you anymore and just don't know how to tell you, hell maybe she wants a ring. my advice is to talk to someone. good luck
