my boyfriend wont move in with me!

my boyfriend and i have bn going out about 10 and a half months now. we love each other very much. recently i have suggested that we move in together cos 5 out of 7 nights of the wk we are together so it makes sense to live together. my boyfriend however says that he cant because that would mean his mother would be on her own. his mother is about 50 very capable of looking after herself and has got a boyfriend too. i'm totally raging.. what can i do or say to get him to see my point of view?

we are speaking we're getting on very well its jus this one thing thats getting to me.

For whatever reason he is not ready or willing to live with you, so stop making a big deal of it. Whats the hurry???

Maybe he doesn't want to pay half the rent. He may also may not want to leave Mom alone.
Don't take it personal, You have a place of your own, he lives with Mom. If I knew Mom was OK, and you were my girl, It would be different.
Maybe Time? Act like you want the place for youself, and he will want to move in.
I don't know why it works like that sometimes.
Don't stress, Take Care.

There's really nothing you can do or say to get him to see your point of view. For whatever reason he doesn't want to move in with you and he's using his mother as an excuse. I'd just stay in a holding pattern for right now but if he shows continued signs of reluctance to make any kind of commitment then you've got a problem.

Yes, there may be a problem. If he is a mamma's boy, you will always be second.
