I have know this guy at school for a few years. We used to laugh, tease, and joke with each other, but he got held back a grade and we didn't see each other at all the next year- except for an occasional glimpse in the hallway. Now, I see him in the hallways quite often, and also I see him during lunch. When I first talked to him it was a simple conversation that lasted about one minute. I didn't say much because he had a friend with him. That was a few months ago.
Now I am realizing that I have a huge crush on him, but I am really shy. Whenever I noticed him in the hallways I would look away because it was too awkward. I always see him everywhere, but he stopped saying "hi" to me. Now he actually ignores me the most of the time and I'm not sure if it is my fault or not. I sometimes feel like he notices me too, but I also feel like we is trying to completely ignore me. And I'm too shy to talk to him as now as well. Does he hate me because I liked him? I really don't know but wish that it would be less awkward so I could talk to him. I don't really know what to do because I rarely see him alone.

I think it's safe to say he doesn't hate you for liking him. Now fate rewards the bold. Get your game face on walk up to him and say "what's up you too good for me now?" in your best new york city accent and smack him on the a$$. J/k. No seriously you need to take the initiative if you want to talk to him again. Just go up to him and say "hi, I've missed our time together how have you been?" Bring up a mutual inside joke if possible and you will be fine. Good luck.
