Does my ex boyfriend deserve the gift I gave him?

I was planning on giving my ex a gift for his birthday, and I gave it to him early. It was a guitar.... he dumped me for my friend, and I don't know if he still deserves it..... What should I do? I have the guitar he gave it back to me, but should I give it back to him, or give it back to the person I got it from?

Why did you give your ex a birthday gift?

Does the person you got it from want it back? Did you pay for it and want your money back?

I'm not sure why you're even contemplating giving the guitar to him. Sell it and buy yourself something nice!

If you already have the guitar, then go ahead and either use it or sell it if you have no use for it. If you do not, then it would have been alright to let him keep it.
