why would a married guy whos been flirting with you for over a year,and who does everything possible to show how much he cares about you ,and want to be with , and who says ask me anything you want to know about me i will tell you,and he has,would get so offended when he starts talking about his wife, and i tell him that i really don't care to hear about her.

Maybe he is trying to make you jealous by talking about her. Are you sure he was flirting with you? Maybe he's just a really outgoing person. I am, and for the longest time, this guy I used to work with thought I really liked him. I did, but in a totally platonic sort of way. If it really bothers you, just come out and ask him. Are you guys sleeping together? If so, maybe he thinks it is understood that it is casual sex and doesn't understand why it bothers you. I would just ask him. Maybe there is a simple explanation. Also, is he talking about his kids when he mentions his wife? Maybe he thinks people might overhear you talking and he wants it to sound like he treats you like everyone else. I'm not sure about that one, I need more info!
