Closing Date

I want to xtend my closing date on the house I'm about to purchase.....how I go about doing that.....go to my realtor agent.....is that breaking a contract....???....and how long can I entend it for.....1-2 mon......???

You should talk to your real estate agent. If you didn't go through a real estate agent, you would have to talk with the seller's real estate agent or the seller. It would have to be mutally agreeable to extend the date, however, most sellers don't want to wait since they have to pay for the mortgage for the time you are delyaing. It is possible to agree to a slight increase in price if you really want the property.

This is based on my personal experience and I am not a license real estate agent.
