new lease

My senior citizen parents both are over eighty, are moving and have signed a lease for a 2 bedroom apt. They were seeking a 3 bedroom apt. but couldn"t find one available. They have recieved their keys, and today a call came from a complex that they viewed an apartment and were informed that there is now a three bedroom apt. available. They are scheduled to move Feb. !st. and now are wondering if there is an way to opt out of their upcoming 1 yr. lease wirhout legal reprisals

no, once they have signed and paid and recieved keys they are bound by the lease. They will have to follow the terms of the lease. Note, if you sign, you are obligated, so don't sign if it is not really what you want. Just tell them to forget the 3 bedroom for this year.
