Landlord/Tenant

I have a friend (in Georgia), that is a single mom raising two girls living in a home provided for and owned by her sister. They are now not getting along and her sister wants her out in about 5-days. They have never had a lease agreement nor has she been asked or required to pay rent. She has however paid the cost of all utilities and has resided there for approx. two years. It has really been a weird deal all along as the sister that owns the homw has a key and comes and goes as she pleases. In any case, what rights would the party living in the home have? Would they possibly fall under the landlord/tenant law or just what? The party living in the home is also curently unemployed...I can't imagine that court would allow her to be put on the street in only 5-days? There has also been no official notice (in writing) given. Everything for the last two years has been verbal. She is worried that her sister will change the locks after this 5-day period is up and she cannot get to her belongings.

Thanks for any advice.

jay
