I sold my home to a family member who has decided not to pay for it. They have signed a quit claim deed that is in the process of being recorded with the county. The title never changed hands because we still have an outstanding mortgage. How do I go about reporting this to the credit bureaus? Also is there any way to pursue getting the money we are owed even though they currently don't own a home. This is their second foreclosure this year! I don't want to see anyone else deceived as we were.
