Abandoned Home Owners

Is there a 'free' site to locate the owners of properties that have been abandoned?

If you go to the auditors website in your area you can find out. I am assuming that you mean people that owe taxes on their homes . But just empty properties, no not that I know of.

From what I gather from a little research I did, I dont think there is a free site to locate owners. I think your best approach would be to have acess to a title company in the community where the house is, then provide the address, therefore get the owner's name.

Are you thinking of a'flip' arrangement whereby you buy, fix up and then sell ?

bushg agrees: we trying to flip one...and the bank has lost the title...so be careful
