My guess is that your mortgage note is secured by a Deed of Trust. You have probably received a Notice of Trustee Sale, that gives the date of the sale, probably in 90+ days. Until the home is sold, it belongs to you. After the sale has taken place, it is no longer yours, and you will be advised how much time you have to move.
