I have asked her to leave and she won't. She pays me 300.00 a month when she feels like it for rent. What can I do legally to get her out! I can not live like this any longer! Please help me! |
Hi Kellyt,
My mother is having the same issue. You may want to go back and read the response posts to the situation that I shared: It's entitled: "Family house guest from hell" posted August 7, 2007. The members gave some very good feedback - there's also a link to an article you should read that will give you more insight:
Tampabay: Law slanted in favor of unwelcome guests.
My mother had to contact an attorney to start the process to have her formally evicted. Your situation is a little different given the fact that money has been exchanged for room and or board.
check out the previous posts. I hope this helps. I know your ANGST.
