    Smoke detectors
    If there are no smoke detectors am I entitled to any refund?

    Hello m:

    No. You are entitled to have them installed, though. Write your landlord a certified letter demanding that he installs them. If he doesn't, you can vacate because he is in VIOLATION of your lease AND state law.
