    Prorated rent
I'm signing a rental agreement on Saturday at 10, the agent wants me to pay prorated for that particular day, I understand it is a business but shouldn't I only pay for the remaining 14 hrs. left for the day or is it completely legal to ask to pay prorated for the whole day
