Contact the county clerk or tax assessor for dates and lists of tax sales. When properties are sold for delinquent taxes its usually done at an auction not to individuals without bids.

countys have tax sells normally once a year. They will annouce thier sell by posting in the court house and normally placing an add in the legal section of the news paper that is used for that purpose in the local area.

So it is no use going in before a sell is annouced, since once the sell is posted normally 2/3 or more pay thier taxes, So really till the morning of the sell, you have no idea for sure which properties will be available.

But you can contact the property tax county department and see if they know when thier next sale will be. Some counties have them the same time every year, others vary.

Then you just check when the time is and go bid on the property.
